yes it is possible

you can write rpl even without using sx4 service , jus need blank rpl

the things u have to do is

- get new rpl from www.GsmUnlockingServer.com
- write blank rpl ( download from here - http://www.sendspace.com/file/l7bp7q )
- write full pm
- write new calculated rpl
- do unlock if necessary

it should work if not HW related problem ...
